Nasal Plug 3 is a compact omnidirectional guide microphone that connects directly to an XLR input.
Designed for cinema cameras, broadcast cameras, PTZ cameras, and other systems without built-in microphones, Nasal Plug 3 is ideal for situations where timecode synchronization is unavailable or when spoken cues, instructions, or reference audio need to be recorded directly into the camera.
While a microphone connection is required, this product is optimized for use cases where audio presence matters more than sound quality—prioritizing extreme compactness and eliminating unnecessary cabling. Simply plug Nasal Plug 3 directly into the camera’s XLR terminal and it operates immediately, with no mount and no cables required.
Its omnidirectional pickup pattern ensures reliable sound capture from all directions, even on broadcast cameras where XLR connectors are oriented sideways or rear-facing. Nasal Plug 3 operates on standard P48 phantom power.
